Dave Miller was born in Nova Scotia to a musical family. He taught himself to play the guitar and has played music since he was a young boy. Music is such a part of his life and sustenance to his soul, that he has to play every morning he can, for at least an hour.

He started writing more than 20 years ago and has numerous songs already written plus countless ones that are just mulling about in his head.

Dave admires several musicians and music genre and it shows in his writing. His greatest influences come from Murray McLaughlin, John Lennon, Merle Haggard, Bob Dylan, Steve Earl and his best buddy, Charlie Bourque.
